HUFLIT strengthens cooperation with universities and enterprises in Taiwan

Recently, a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT), led by Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – President, conducted an official visit and working sessions with six universities and major enterprises in Taiwan.

The meetings and discussions aimed to strengthen cooperation between HUFLIT and Taiwanese partners in areas such as education and training, scientific research, student and faculty exchange, as well as collaboration with enterprises and community engagement activities. The HUFLIT delegation included Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Rector; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thieu, Head of the Department of External Relations; and Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Truc, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

During the visit, the delegation held meetings with the university leadership and representatives of various departments at Fooyin University.

Within the framework of the visit, HUFLIT discussed opportunities to expand cooperation with several partner institutions, including National Formosa University (NFU), Jinwen University of Science and Technology (JUST), Kun Shan University (KSU), Fooyin University (FU), and Chinese Culture University (CCU). On this occasion, HUFLIT also strengthened its connections with Taiwanese enterprises, laying an important foundation for integrating advanced technologies into its academic programs.

HUFLIT also signed a cooperation agreement with MICROIP, a leading company providing electronic design automation solutions for semiconductor chip design used by major semiconductor manufacturers worldwide. This partnership focuses on strategic areas such as semiconductor technology, artificial intelligence, integrated circuit design, high-quality human resource training, the establishment of research and development centers, software development, and the implementation of certification programs.

HUFLIT and MICROIP aim to integrate advanced technologies into the university’s training programs.

The key academic strengths of the partner universities align with HUFLIT’s priority areas for cooperation and development, including industrial management, health management, healthcare and beauty services, tourism and hospitality, marketing, logistics, and several other fields.

Currently, HUFLIT has established partnerships with more than ten universities and enterprises in Taiwan. Through these collaborations, the university has implemented various initiatives such as student exchange programs, talent internship programs, faculty training, and doctoral studies for HUFLIT lecturers at partner universities in Taiwan.

This recent visit is expected to create new momentum for collaboration between HUFLIT and its Taiwanese partners, contributing to the university’s long-term strategy of expanding international cooperation and academic development.
